The version of BOINC :boinc_7.4.42_windows_x86_64.
The computer's operating system type and version :Windows Server 2012 R2.
A description of the problem :Failed to create the 'boinc_master' account.
Windows: want to install BOINC as a Service.

Should I need to install BOINC 5.10.45 instead?

If you want to install BOINC as a service on a domain controller and you want to use the normal BOINC installer then at the moment 5.10.45 is the one you need. But see the discussion starting from this post.

I have not problems with official installer 05.10.45, but missing checkbox for setting as service. Some operating systems (ex.Win2003 Server Small Business) have a limit on the number open terminal session, and in the case boints-client 5.10.45 is how it works (open session). And to this version isn't requested and computing the project WUProp@Home. What you say about this?

P.S. Sc.exe don't support my OS Server. Unfortunely.

How come sc.exe doesn't support your OS? I mean, it's included in Servers or at the very least in Resource Kits since a long time.

Anyway, we are getting out of my comfort zone. Perhaps you could post in the S@H thread and ask for step-by-step instructions to install something newer than 5.10.45?

Do try. The page also doesn't list 7, 8, 10 and Servers 2008 R2, 2012 and 2012 R2. And probably quite a few other editions.

I meant the post I linked to earlier. Here it is again.
