Today I upgraded to the latest beta of Yosemite (OS X 10.10.4 (14E26a)) from the previous beta.

If BOINC 7.4.42 (MacOSX_x86_64) is running, the system becomes unresponsive. Eventually I can quit BOINC and things will run fine again.

Common project running on both Macs tested is World Community Grid.

Anyone else had this problem?

Any suggestions?

Hardware: Late-2013 Mac Pro and Late 2012 Mac Mini.

Is it me, or hasn't Yosemite been out of beta for a long time? If you are running a beta, I'd suggest switching to a supported production version.

Yosemite 10.10.3 is out of beta but 10.10.4 is not. Apple has opened beta testing to a wider audience through a public beta program and downloads via the Mac App Store.
