I'm working with a PC that only has internet during certain hours of the day. Is it possible to get BOINC to run one project while internet is available, and another project while internet is not available? Background info: I'd like to run Bitcoin Utopia (which needs constant internet connection) on GPU during hours with internet and GPUGrid (which can cache workunits to work while offline) during hours without internet. The hours during which the internet is shut off, are different every day so I can't set up a simple clock-based timer, it has to actually check for connectivity. If BOINC does not support this internally, then I suppose I could possibly do it by setting a Scheduled Task in Windows (to run when internet connectivity status changes) - but is it possible to run a command that makes BOINC suspend one project and run another? |
