Now that I'm running Windows 10, I keep getting popups about Boinc notices. I'd like to turn these off - particularly because there appears to be no way to mark a notice as read, so every time I reboot I get the popup about old stuff.

BOINC 7.4.42 and before:
Open BOINC Manager->Tools->Options->Set Notification slider/drop down menu to Never.

BOINC 7.6 and later:
Open BOINC Manager->Options->Other options...->Set Notification drop down menu to Never.

OK to save changes.
