In this version of BOINC and the previous I had installed (a 7.4 version), only when installed on my office computer (behind a corporate firewall), the Notices tab is always empty. It shows the horizontal separator lines that would be between the different notices, and I believe they reflect the right number of notices, but there is no notice text at all, and only one line of white space for text between the lines.

I have checked the C:\ProgramData\BOINC\notices directory, and the setiathome.berkeley.edu_notices.php.xml file there shows the notice text, but for some reason it is not being displayed in the BOINC Manager tab.

I have tried setting my Notices preferences to None or 1 week checking, but that makes no difference.

Can you please post the contents of the setiathome.berkeley.edu_notices.php.xml file here?
To make sure it shows all code correctly, please post it in between [code/] containers.

Can you also check if your user account has permission to read/write to the BOINC Data directory?
