Hello everyone,

I am hoping to find out what is the optimal setting for this field. I am currently crunching for three projects (WCG, Citizen Science, and Universe@home) and I previously had it set for 120 minutes, which I believe was the default.

Should I change this value, especially since WCG and Universe@home have larger work units? Or is there a better setting that I should try to use?

I have decided to change this value to 640 minutes thinking that then each core (I have 4 cores running tasks) would spend more time crunching on each work unit. So far it seems to be working fine, but I am worried that I am loosing out due to me setting this up being inefficient.

The default is 60 minutes.
Should you change it? That's totally up to you.

There is no right or wrong answer for this value.
