Hi, I want to set up BOINC in a cloud with multiple instances (currently its four - in the future much more) for gridcoin mining. I builded a snapshot with a running BOINC client working on two projects (SAT@home & yoyo@home). I'm using BAM as an account manager. BOINC 7.2.42 is installed with apt-get. System: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS x64 - headless obviously. Ports 80, 443 and 31416 are open - no external IPs. Is this sufficient? If I start a new instance based on the working snapshot my new hosts are not showing up in the BAM host list. There is just the one I started last or did a update with "boinccmd --join_acct_mgr http://bam.boincstats.com XX YY". The same is true for the project accounts: just the first host I set up shows up there. How to fix that? Any further information needed? |

[UPDATE: They now show up in the project accounts, after 3 hours. Not in the BAM list though] |

We aren't BAM or in any way affiliated with them, other than in name. You'll have to take this up with them at https://boincstats.com/en/forum/. |

Still no change after 2 days. Try manually setting up the accounts on one cloud installation and you should get immediate running apps. |
