Installed Centos 7 boinc modules: boinc-manager , boinc-client, boinc-client-doc (all 7.2.42-9).

Some issues

1) BOINC mgr does not appear to work with OpenText Exceed at all. Menu items immediately report fatal X-11 error.

2) Other x-servers work better with boincmgr, but tools/addproject or account manager immediately fails. The following message is written to the console

execvp(/home/<username>/boinc, --redirectio, --launched_by_manager) failed with error 13!

The boinc directory has 777 permissions.

I can run boinc-client from the command line.

"Error 13" appears to be a permissions violation, but I am not sure what permissions are being violated.

Any suggestions? Thanks...

Hard to tell what the problem could be. What the error says?

On Fedora/RHEL Manager can't automatically connect to the client. See Installing BOINC on Fedora for information on how to setup things. (I'm not entirely sure how up to date those instructions are.)
