Hello, Just started to run BOINC again after installing OpenSUSE Tumbleweed on a generic x64 machine. The BOINC manager version is 7.6.32 (x64) and installed from the OpenSUSE distribution. I had removed the password requirements per the instructions. I did have BOINC running till I restarted my machine. Now when I manually start the BOINC manager it says it's connecting to the localhost and then disconnects after a few minutes. I've looked at the /var/log/boinc.log file and nothing is there. Occasionally I receive a message box that states "The BOINC client has exited unexpectedly 3 times within the last 2 minues. Would you like to restart it again?" After I specify yes, the same thing happens again, connecting to localhost and then disconnected. How do we resolve this? |

I'm having a very similar problem with Windows 7. New install, but can't get past unable to connect to core client and then I get the same windows error messages that you seem to be getting. Been working for a couple of days and have no solution yet. |
