BOINC 7.6.7 - OSX 10.11.5 - Macbook Pro running ABC, Asteroids, ATLAS, Einstein, LHC, pogs, and SETI I had Boinc turned off several days because it has been hot. Now when i click on the top bar icon and Resume, it immediately flips back to being idled with the twin bars. I have tried, reinstalling Boinc and deleting the files in the Library>Application support>Boinc files What's up? [/img] |

Check if you didn't suspend BOINC: 1) Right-click on the BOINC icon in the system tray, see if there is a check before Snooze. 2) You have suspended BOINC through Boinc Manager, Activity menu, Suspend. Return it to Run based on preferences. 3) You have suspended the Project. Go to the Project tab in Boinc Manager. Check the status of your project or projects. To resume a project, click on it, then click on the Resume button in the menu on the left. 4) You have suspended one or all of the tasks. In this case go to the Tasks tab and select each task, then press the Resume button in the menu on the left. Do this for all Tasks that are suspended. |

That's all right. I've been caught out on one of those at one time as well, after which I sat down and wrote down all situations in which BOINC can be suspended. :) By the way, just curious, which one was it? |
