BOINC v 7.6.22 (x64); Windows 7. Quad core CPU. Running SETI@home and Primegrid. SETI is running ok, but for the last 2 weeks I've not been getting any new Primgrid tasks - Event log says: | PrimeGrid |No tasks are available for the applications you have selected. And: | PrimeGrid | Tasks for NVIDIA GPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them (but I'm just using default preferences). I've tried suspending SETI, but still no Primegrid tasks come through. I hope someone can advise me here ...! many thanks, Gordon (Ross-shire, Scotland) |

Primegrid tells you it has no tasks available for the applications you have chosen. It also tells it does have work for the Nvidia GPU, but you have chosen not to use it. The latter message can be because you don't have an Nvidia GPU, or in case you do, have set not to use it through preferences. Suspending Seti will not auto-magically make Primegrid have tasks available for the applications you have chosen, but that they don't have work for. So you will have to check at http://www.primegrid.com/ whether the applications you have chosen have work available, and check in the Primegrid project preferences http://www.primegrid.com/orig/prefs.php?subset=project whether you have chosen those applications. If you're still confused, and/or do want to use your GPU but don't know if it's capable or not, please post the first 40 lines or thereabouts of your BOINC start up messages (CTRL+SHIFT+E on an open BOINC Manager). |

Thank you. I went over to the Primegrid site and changed some prefs there, and I now have some tasks running - don't know how they got lost! Many thanks for answering my query. Gordon |
