I have been running Boinc/WCB for the past several years on Vista and then Windows 10. Sometime after the Anniversary Update to Windows 10 this January I started having problems with Windows 10 hanging (non-responsive) and suspected that Boinc was the culprit but could not pin it down. After installing the Creator Update about a week ago I was able to confirm that Boinc/WCG was causing the system to buzz and then hang up.

When I disable Boinc Windows 10 runs well but within minutes of enabling Boing the buzz sound and hang-up recur.
Am I misinterpreting the problem? Is anyone else having a similar issue?
