Hello, first of all thank you for all the big work you are doing with BOINC and i can say i'm very glad to be helpful to science by just running some project through my computer. By the way i' m facing an issue, and here it is: I'm running BOINC (7.6.33+dfsg-12) with Boinctui 2.4.4 as manager on my Debian Stretch and using open source mesa drivers for my graphic card (AMD R7 265); everything downloaded from official stable repositories. Graphic card is successfully recognized by BOINC but for some reason it never download any GPU's task. Since i'm running SETI@Home and Moo! Wrapper i expect it to download something. I tested on my Windows 7 and it works without any problem (ati proprietary drivers) so the issue must sits in my Linux (or mesa drivers?), but since i' m not an expert i don't know what should i do. At the moment Seti apps are not compatible with Mesa drivers. You won't get Multibeam tasks. You might get Astropulse tasks but they will fail. I don't know about Moo. |
