Hi,

My computer is pretty slow, I would like to make it running faster ; does Boinc decrease the computer's speed ? I use SAT@home and climateprediction.net.

(I'm French so please excuse me for the mistakes, I'm quite bad in english).

It depends on what kind of software you are using, GPU computing will usually make the most noticeable difference to the user, CPU not as much. If performance is an issue, you can always set the preferences to suspend CPU or GPU computation (or both) when the computer is in use.
