I just have a quick Question. 1) is It possible to setup Boinc Serve at my home for personal use connecting 5-6 Laptops or Desktop. 2) If answer is Yes for above question than my next question is , Do client and Server can communicate without internet connection. I think it would be best if I asked somebody like Christian Beer to pass by this thread - he prepared the server VM you're trying to use, and hearing your difficulties first-hand might inspire improvements (or links!) to the documentation. In the meantime, you might explain what type of application you're intending to deploy from the server, and process using the other machines on your LAN - then any help offered can be more precisely targeted.
