Does anybody know if I can merge BOINC users?

I've been processing for BOINC (slowly) for a number of years and the email address I signed up with is no longer valid (can't even remember it). I have now registered as a new user with my current email address but I'd like my past few years of contributions to count. I'm still processing for my old account and the credit is still rising so I could just leave it alone, but I would like to edit the profile of that account because it shows my country as "international" when it should be UK.

Does anyone know what I can do?

It's not possible.


The reason is that in the past some decided to "borrow" other peoples accounts without permission and combine them with their own.

If he is still processing for the old account, then one of his computers has the account key. If so he can log in. If he can log in then he can update the e-mail address and the user flag which is what he asked about.

Thank you for your replies. I have managed to log in to the web pages of the two projects I process for. One of them was set to UK and the other was set to Unknown. They are now both UK, so hopefully my BoincStats will change to UK as well.
