Is there a way - or is it even possible - to change the Resource Share for a single project on a specific computer? Perhaps through the appl_config file? |

You can change the resource share via the project preferences in your account on the project's website. For example at https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/prefs.php?subset=project |

Associate that computer with a different venue (default, home, school or work) than your other computers and set the resource share to whatever you wish. With 4 different venues you can have 4 different resource shares. |

Using the website parameters would change the resource share on all my machines, and that's one of the things I'm trying to avoid. I want to change the resource share on one project on a single machine. Is that possible? |

As jglrogujgv said, you have four independent sets of website parameters at your disposal. Are you using them all already? |

It is doable via the preferences page and it's easy. Not doable via app_config.xml, that's for other stuff. When you go to the preferences page scroll down and see the links for creating additional venues (school, work and home). |

Took a bit of tinkering but finally got it. Thanks to all. |
