Is there a way to limit the number of downloads from a given project using the BOINC command line? Some projects now have an option to limit the number of tasks downloaded but many don't. As a result, the better-behaved projects send a limited number of tasks while others - generally the older projects - download up to some limit. |

Unless there is a limit in your project preferences like at LHC or a max # of tasks per CPU thread set by the project, all projects will download tasks to fill up your queue based off the task ETA. ETAs may be off until the host completes several. You're best tool is the # of days in your queue. |
