I just got a Samsung Galaxy J2 phone. When I installed the BOINC app, I attached it to SETI@Home and it downloaded some work units but reported a computation error when trying to crunch those work units. Re-installing the app did not resolve this issue. I'm not sure what else to try to get this to work.

Computation errors are caused by the science application, not by BOINC. So your best course of action is to post on the Seti forums.

Without further information I suspect you're in the same boat.
