my first post. registered to this forum, specially for this feature request.

i am participating gpugrid.net project. i have build computer rig with nvidia gtx 1080 Ti and gtx 1070 video cards, specially for only gpugrid.net project.

because of partial load of 1080 Ti at gpugrid (around 50% gpu load), it is pretty waste of the card not being loaded to 85-90 % (maybe more to 95%).
gtx 1070 is loaded around 90%.

now i am using app_config.xml with gpu_usage 0.5 for ACEMDLONG application. this way i can run 2 WU on 1 card for this specific application. consequence of this setting is that also my gtx 1070 are running 2 WU's for ACEMDLONG app. but ii dont want gtx 1070 to run 2 parallel WU.

i want only gtx 1080 Ti running parallel 2 WU's.

neither i want to exclude some gpu's from my rig.

so this is the reason for my feature request:

setting up client in a such way to run specific application on a specific device with specific settings.

i think that many people would love this possibility.

then you have the flexibility to configure your computing rig i a way you like it.
