When I double-click on 7.16.2 "BOINC Installer.app", a pop-up window appears saying Apple can not verify the app. How can Install BOINC 7.16.2? Only with a command "sudo spctl --master-disable"? There is no explanation about this into the readme.rtf file. |

BOINC v7.16.2 has been withdrawn. Please wait for v7.16.3, probably tomorrow. |

BOINC v7.16.2 has been withdrawn. That will be something fun for me to do on the train to Dundee, I think I might need to tether my phone and use 4g as I suspect the free wifi has a usage limit. |

If it's anything I have had to cope with the past days, that's about 200MB before it cuts out. The BOINC installer should be a lot smaller? 😁 |

This is most likely because the installer was not notarized. According to Apple: Important Until this is corrected, the easiest workaround is to control-click on BOINC Installer in the Finder and select Open from the pop-up menu. This will allow you to bypass Gatekeeper and run the BOINC installer. Charlie Fenton BOINC / SETI@home Macintosh & Windows Programmer |
