The "join" page lists the following options -
Low power
Standard
Maximum computing

The "Intro" page lists the following options -
green, standard, and max

It's easy to draw the parallel, but I cannot find a description of their implementation.
This is particularly important for laptops having a separate GPU - some can hardly support a fully utilised GPU, even without subsidiary CPU tasks.
Please explain the effect of these 3 options - both for CPU and GPU.

Have you tried the SU forums?

Personally I wouldn't touch Science United with a barge pole as I like rather more control over what my computers do.
