New Raspberry Pi3->Installed BOINC Mgr->I pick World Community Grid but then when trying to get tasks I get this error: This project doesn't support computers of type arm-unknown-linux-gnueabihf Does Raspberry Pi3 not run BOINC Manager? |

BOINC doesn't do any science. (And the Manager is just a display for the BOINC-client. The whole is just called BOINC.) The science is done by programs on each project, and only for the OS that they support. So you need to find a project that has work for the Pi. |

I believe the manager is ported from other systems. That's why sometimes you'll get suggestions from projects that aren't supported. For projects that are supported by the pi, visit: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/projects.php And look for projects with the Arm symbol: ![]() You can remove projects that your hardware doesn't support. |
