I have Rosetta and when I stop using the computer for a while, the screen goes black and even if I restart it, it stays that way when it turns on.

Windows/Linux/Mac ? Screensaver/power settings if laptop? What happens with the running tasks? A bit more information is needed before anyone can even guess at the answer.

I switched to Linux at the end of last century so am not up to date on these things. May be worth looking in this thread for answers.
