So, I'm running BOINC 7.16.6 on macos Catalina (10.15.x), and it's stable and all. However, it seems the Event Log has been nerfed. It's no longer reporting when it's uploading and downloading results/tasks, when it's pausing/restarting projects/tasks, etc. I miss this, but I don't particularly want to know how many seconds it's pausing to check with particular projects (might as well tell me how many months your 4-1/2 y/o is.) :) |

That should update your config file and get your messages flowing again :-) |

There was a change to the default flags for the event log in the latest incarnation of BOINC. Not sure if these flags will be enabled by default again in the next round of releases. |

We're working on David, trying to plant the idea of a hotfix bug release in the short term: there were signs of possible acceptance a week ago, but no material action since then. But for the record: the removal of the default flags was a mistake, not a deliberate action. |

This seems to have worked. I'll see with WUs being completed if it holds up. |
