Been running BOINC for several years on a Samsung Android Note 8. Got a message for the first time saying another volunteer computing app was running and BOINC would be suspended. Uninstalled and reloaded BOINC from Google Play Store. Everything was fine. 2 days later, I get the message again. Have not knowingly loaded any new apps. A review of all loaded apps does not disclose anything even closely related to BOINC. Cant get to version number but it's the latest version from playstore. Prior version was probably several years ago. I do World Community Grid exclusively
Any clues appreciated

It sometimes shows, when the Boinc app is being loaded twice at the same time.
All you need to do, is close the app, and reopen it.
