I managed to install BOINC 8.0.4 on an Android/Google TV (made by FPD), connect to WUProp and Einstein, and tweek some of the settings (like CPU usage and storage space).

There appear to be two things I can't do:
* Bring up the per-project menu that allows setting "no new tasks" or detaching. I can select the project entry, and the grey highlight will flash to show BOINC knows I pushed the select button, but no menu popup.
* On the task list, I can apparently only expand the first task to see task details. I have not yet tried the "Expand all tasks" option in the main settings menu.

Also, it appears to default to the default "1 billion ops/sec" for 'Measured floating point speed' and 'Measured integer speed', as reported to the projects.

Some of the TV details, as reported by BOINC to WUProp:

Update with some random trivia:

* I can stop BOINC as a whole, using the button on the upper right. (This was tested before I attached any projects.)
* Event log does have entries; logging appears to be happening.
* A WUProp task has returned, validated, and the Einstein hours were logged.
* After 1+ hours, the running Einstein tasks haven't crashed. Will find out if they complete and validate in the next 12+ hours of runtime. (Experience on phones is Einstein takes around 14 hours. Validation isn't certain on any specific device running tasks, but is usually 80%+.)

Don't have access to a desktop; just some android phones and the new TV.
