Eventually, all projects that have one or more science applications for Nvidia GPUs will need the newer science application and plan class, because it's not just this Nvidia GPU series that does away with the 32-bit support, it's the first Nvidia GPU series that does away with it. All the others coming after will also have lost their 32-bit support.

but if they all already have 64-bit apps, what is the consequence that something they dont have isnt supported anymore? nothing needs to change if everyone is already on 64-bit apps, which is seems they are. and no one in the future will create 32-bit apps, so what's issue here? add a 32-bit nvidia plan class when no one needs one? that's why it seems like the whole premise of this thread is hypothetical and not really an issue.
