RE: http://BoincStatsMirror.Technutopia.Net I'm setting up a mirror for Boinc Project Stats, but I don't see any checksums to verify a correct download. Is it possible to add something like md5sum for stats files? |

I asked about this. You could count records in the exported XML as tables.xml in the stats export dir has the counts (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/stats/tables.xml). It's not a perfect verification, though. If this is not good enough for you, you could submit a ticket to Trac for db_dump modification (assigned to davea). Trac needs registration. |

RE: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/ticket/208 I hope it was descriptive enough--thank you for the 'direction' on where to post the request. |

RE: 05/24/07 20:25:39 changed by KSMarksPsych ¶ owner set to Rytis. component changed from Undetermined to Server - Web - Project. 05/24/07 20:26:08 changed by KSMarksPsych ¶ owner changed from Rytis to davea. 05/25/07 05:38:12 changed by anonymous ¶ vbbv 05/25/07 08:48:44 changed by davea ¶ status changed from new to closed. resolution set to wontfix. Why is this needed? TCP is a reliable protocol, and wget returns an error code on failure. Dave seems to thing it's reliable enough. I'll have to follow up at some time in the future with supporting details. Thanks again--it was the right place to go. |
