Thread 'Having problems installing Boinc'

On the 3rd computer I can't seem to get boinc to start up at all. No screen, it just runs in the background, and I can't load up the boinc manager, can somebody please help me get boinc to load on the new computer. I have windows xp on all 3 computers this one just doesn't seem to load boinc ID: 12906 ·

Single/Shared User or Service Install? Yes, boincmgr.exe is running in the task manager but screen won't load. I've tried all versions of boinc from the past, the same thing happens, I reinstalled windows xp again and it still happened. I installed it as a single user. it will run in the task manager but will not load the manager for me to do anything to it. The screensaver says boinc screensaver loading and bounces around. why won't it work on this computer. I have a intel motherboard, intel video accelerator, intel celeron D 3.3ghz. it should work great but doesn't. The other 2 computers are dells, and I have no problem, and runing all the same software. ID: 12930 ·
