Hello. I have several systems running assorted bionic projects. I have a laptop that in not on all the time but can do some work. I am looking for a project that has a short task time. Seti has 4 and 6 hour times and others like prime grid have very og times like 24 and 36 hours. So is there a project with 1 or 2 hour times thanks. |

One suggestion would be Rosetta@Home. You can select work unit run times of "not specified", 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, etc. ... up to 24 hours. |

One suggestion would be Rosetta@Home. You can select work unit run times of "not specified", 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, etc. ... up to 24 hours. Go to Your account, Resource share and graphics - Rosetta@home preferences and edit the Target CPU run time value in any preferred set of settings (if in doubt / not sure, edit the "Primary (Default) preferences" set). PrimeGrid has various subprojects with runtimes ranging from 5 minutes up to 30 hours, depending on your system. Like Rosetta, you can change your preferences of which subproject to crunch from the My Account page or through a link on the home page. For PrimeGrid, your best bets are Twin Prime Search and either of the sieves; all three subprojects go for under an hour and have deadlines of 5-7 days. ![]() |
