Has anyone run into this problem before? Somehow, I became unattached to GridRepublic. Under Tools, the only choice is 'Synchronize With '. I tried Synchronizing, even though it no longer showed 'Synchronize With GridRepublic'. Didn't work. I've tried everything I could think of, including uninstalling BOINC and reinstalling it. I signed up to use BAM! instead, didn't fix it. Tried uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling, but still only have 'Synchronize With '. Any idea how to get BOINC Manager to reattach to an Account Manager? |

I have spoken with Matthew on this, he's the admin and main developer for Grid Republic. He suggests that you detach and then reattach to your account manager. (ie, "stop using...", then "attach to account manager"). Be sure the URL used is correct when reattaching. (http://gridrepublic.com) Make sure you also detach from BAM! before you tackle the above. And check at Grid Republic if all the projects you signed up for are still in your list of attached projects. If it doesn't work, please post a list of your messages, which may show us what is happening. |
