I am using BOINC 5.10.45 on W2K3 Domain Controller and have not been able to update. I have sited the Wiki entry referring to this but was curious as to when this issue was going to be addressed?

Not before BOINC 6.10
It is a problem with permissions that isn't easily gotten around to with the present installer. BOINC 6.10 will use a whole different installer.

The new installer use has been postponed again. It won't be in BOINC 6.10, which will instead have ATI GPU detection support.

BOINC 5.10.45 can be downloaded from here (just scroll down the list).
