Hi I'd like to ask this: My computer processor(s) don't seem to be recognized ok, Maybe BOINC handles the processor numbering differently but: BOINC states: 8 AuthenticAMD Quad-Core AMD Opteron 2376 [AMD Family 16 Model 4 Stepping 2] BOINC states: Processor features: fpu tsc pae nx sse sse2 pni When I check this It is not correct, CPU diag programs and AMD state this is a Family F Model 4 Extension 2 Extended Family 10 Extended Model 4 Revision RB-C2 Instructionsets are: MMX(+), 3DNow!(+), SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4a, x86-64 Maybe you could explain why? This is a relatively new Opteron; Shanghai-line followup to the Barcelona-line I'm just wondering |

Note to myself: F is also a number in Hex (=15) since computers se 0 as a valid part of line numbering F could mean family 16 |

Note to myself: It's always the simple stuff that gets you when your mind wonders ..... ;) |
