In one of my computers i have a long work buffer, although in boinc's preferences it's only 0.25 days, it's a lot more in reality. Is this normal?

In other computer I have only a few tasks waiting in buffer, and i would like to increase it's size.

What should i do to properly configure these work buffers in a independent way for each computer?

Use the BOINC manager advanced preferences. Using those preferences you can set them up per computer. They will override any of the same preferences set through the web-site.
