I'm running BOINC 6.6.36 with 7 projects. I've set Resource Share numbers according to how much time I want each project to get. BOINC Manager will show the correct Resource Share numbers on the Projects tab after an update of each project. When I check the BOINC Manager a couple of days later, all the Resource Shares are back to 100. If I close BOINC Manager and shut down all processes, then restart the Manager and update all projects, the Resource Shares will go back to the correct numbers. I check again later, and they are back to 100. Any ideas? |

I do use BAM as an account manager and I have set the resource share there and also checked them on each projects individual website to make sure it is set correctly on there too. |

Don't do that. Please read: I have updated my preferences in BAM, updated the client from BAM but the preferences are still the old. Why? Oh and it's best to ask questions about how to use BAM on the BAM forums. |

Don't do what? I changed the settings on BAM as your link instructs and then simply checked the projects website to make sure the setting got pushed through by BAM. Also, I had to manually change the Resource Share for World Community Grid since it does not allow BAM to change it. The bottom line is that the projects resources get set correctly with one update from the project and then seemingly get changed back to 100 at some later time. |
