I am using a Quad Core with Nvidia GeForce 9800GT.

I get these messages when I boot up BOINC.

THe problem is I would expect to be able to crunch 5 units at a time but I only crunch 4. The GPU isn't being used. I have set preferences in Advanced/Preferences ti crunch with GPU but this doesn't seem to work?

Any ideas?

This question is better suited at Seti. They have had a lot of problems with giving out work lately, so it may just be that.

Seeing that you're using the anonymous platform (or app_info.xml and 3rd party science apps), have you set in there that you want to use the GPU?
By using an app_info.xml you're telling BOINC only to use those applications and ask work only for those. When you don't specify through that file that you want to use the GPU app, it won't ever ask for work.

Else use the Lunatics installer v2 to correctly tell which applications you want to use. You will need to exit BOINC, then run this installer, then restart BOINC.
