# New: log.xml flag: history_fetching, logs history fetch times.
# Changed: All tabs: Don't refresh the window, when a tab is selected again within 10 seconds. In that case wait for the normal refresh cycle.
# Changed: A (re)connection attempt now occurs in a separate thread, so it will not slow down everything else.
# Changed: History: Don't update individual computers that have a time left > 30 seconds.
# Changed: Tasks: Running tasks: Deadline warning color, is now applied to the deadline cell only.
# Changed: Tasks: CPU % warning color, is now applied to the deadline cell only.
# Fixed: Logging: Part of a connection error text was corrupted.
# Fixed: Tasks and history: state 60100 and 60200 = aborted.
# Fixed: Moving the Gadget placed it always on top.

# New: Write and read the color settings to and from BoincTasks_settings_colors.xml.
# Changed: Allow a task refresh at maximum speed, was limited to about 3 seconds. The maximum effective refresh rate is 2 seconds.
# Fixed: Graphic, the graphic window is placed too far to the left, when the font type is set above 100%.
# Fixed: Tasks: The temperature readings are incorrect on mixed AMD ad NVIDIA systems.
# Fixed: Gadget: In the mode "show running tasks", the deadline color was shown at random.

I found a few problems for You, BT has a problem with aborting tasks, I had to recently do this, I'd tried to do this with BT, But I had to use BM instead, Also Boinc Preferences is not launching when clicked on all of the time, Sometimes It does work, Most of the time It fails to launch when clicked on. Oh and on Aborted Tasks BT lists every last one of them individually.

1)What BOINC version are you using? What BT version?
2) When you tried to abort tasks, did the dialog with all the tasks to be aborted popped up?
3) Did you select a specific computer when you selected BOINC preferences?
4) And indeed there is no filter for the aborted tasks.

3) I only have the one PC, So no, that never came up.

I modified the BOINC Preferences to always fall back on the localhost. This should handle the not showing problem.
I checked the aborted with a number of testers and there is no one with these problems.
So I need more, a specific project only, what is shown in the abort dialog, check if the correct task is shown (exactly right), if possible check with the BOINC manager. And check if the correct project is shown.
Do you have the computer column in the tasks view?

You mean the computer sidebar selection? No since I only have the one PC, I don't bother using that function.

Ok I took a screen grab of BT and I'd managed to get BT to start the abort procedure, Going beyond here has never worked for Me, Pressing Yes works the same as No right now, As to BT Preferences It is even harder to get running, I clicked on It's menu close to a dozen times and It didn't pop up like It should, Proxy settings also does not respond when clicked on, I click on the menu and nothing happens.

As you can see the project is missing.
Probably due to the disabling of the project column. As you get a warning, that some function won't work, when you you remove the project column.

This is one of them.

Extra -> BoincTasks settings, Tasks tab: Make sure there is a check at Projects and Computer and press Apply.

Ok I did as You asked, It would be nice if they worked regardless of how their set, But You have Your reasons. The missing filter for Aborted WU's would be nice. I'm using BT a lot lately, BM is almost never used here now.

In the next version 0.78 I will allow the columns to have a width of 0. That's visually the same as hiding them, but for the program they are still there.
So you are both happy.

# New: A user defined date/time format.
# New: All computers in Extra->Benchmark/Read config/Allow network/Allow to run/Allow to run GPU.
# Changed: Extra->BOINC Preferences: Sometimes the dialog is not shown. When no computer is found fall back on the localhost.
# Changed: Dialog Yes/No (Abort) is now scalable and the column width is now stored. Added an additional computer column.
# Changed: All tabs: Allow a column width of 0, effectively hiding a column. This allows e.g. the computer column, to be hidden on single computer systems.
# Fixed: Tasks/History: 60001-state should be aborted.
# Fixed: Tasks: Cpu%, shows 100.00 | number instead of 100.00.

So Fred are You going to filter the Aborted WU's? As they should be filtered, Just like the other WU's are so that they don't fill up the screen.
