Running XP64 Pro (fully patched) I downloaded and installed BOINC client. After reboot, the client starts and is stuck on retiieving status, add project does not function, Run CPU benchmarks does not work etc. any thoughts/ideas? My PC is behind a WRT54G firewall/router. And no I have not run BOINC software before.

Did you allow BOINC to pass through your firewall to the internet? Boinc.exe needs access to ports 80 and 443.

Yes I am behind a firewall, WRT54G.
