I keep on getting http errors. Is something wrong over there or is it my box. I tried re-installing Boinc but it doesn't change. I'm beginning to get bored.

These are not the Seti forums, but the BOINC forums. Seti has the problems, there is nothing wrong with BOINC as all other projects that you can attach to do not show these problems.

Actually it matters to me, and regardless of who has the problem its becoming a bit boring, and maybe someone should fix it.
My machine runs 24/7 for Bonic. If it doesn't work I'll switch it off.

Still, it's not a BOINC problem. Seti has had these major problems ever since their air conditioning failed in the server cabinet. That can (and probably did) cause all kinds of problems with servers that expect to sit in cool air.

It has nothing to do with BOINC, not with the client, nor the back-end. You can't change anything about it, it's up to the Seti admins to fix these problems. They have their weekly maintenance outage at this moment, so for the next 4-6 hours you can easily shut your system down. Then check tomorrow if they managed to fix it, and if not, then post in one of the many, many threads on this subject in the Seti forums.

Do know that Seti is run on a shoestring budget, they have 4 people working part-time for the project, part-time other projects. They're in California, they do have family, friends and hobbies. They do not spend all their time sitting next to the servers, so if something goes wrong in the middle of their night, or the middle of their weekend, you will just have to wait until they come into the office to check up on things.

Just an FYI, uploads have started going in to SETI. Servers are still down for maintainance though so they won't report just yet.
