It looks like when I started with SETI (2000) I had access to the SETI account data and have processed a fair amount of info. Since BOINC it seems as though the "credit" reporting / tracking process has separated the two processes. Is there a way to ensure a single account login and tracking method of the old / new (seti vs. boinc) efforts toward processing data? |

I'm not sure what you're asking? Do you want to use your Seti account that you used to run Seti Classic with? If so, you will have to use that account to log in with. The email address is the unique identifier, so if you still know the old email address and it's still valid, use this log-in. You can click either the blue "forgot email address" or "forgot password" links for reminders thereof. If you're asking whether uploading work and reporting it can be done at the same time, then the answer is no, it can't. Uploading is merely a data transfer from your hard drive to a hard drive at Seti. Reporting uses the database. So it's two separate processes that both use a different part of the back-end. If you're asking something completely different, then please be more clear. |
