I’m about to move to another county and I’ll probably be offline from the internet for a while as I will need to set up in a new house and get all the standard utilities and well as new a internet service provider. I don’t wish to just unplug my computer and have tasks still running as they won’t get completed. I’ve got a week until I have to leave and I’d like the tasks I’m running now to be the last I do until I reconnect in my new county. As soon as I have a connection again I will continue with my account. How do I stop receiving new tasks and just upload the ones my computer will complete in the next few days? I’m currently with Eensitein@home and Seti@home. Many thanks for your advice! |

Just set No New Tasks on each project, you'll have to click update on each project to report your completed work, as Boinc won't be asking for work any more, Claggy |

Muchas gracias my friend! My apologies if that was an inanely simple problem. I’m not the best with computers. But I want mine to help science nonetheless. Much appreciated. |
