I have installed the 6.10.58 client on win7-64 box and it runs no problem but as soon as I log out, everything stops! Is there a way to re-configure boinc clint to have it run as a windows service so that I can auto-start it on boot and not have to worry about it. |

Is there a reason for sandboxing? I just installed the service manually under "NETWROK SERVICE" account, gave that username permissions to the data folder and everything seems to be working fine. |

Is there a reason for sandboxing? Of course there is. Security against rogue projects, to limit the ability of project applications to access files outside of the BOINC directory or to cause other problems. See Sandbox User |
