I was running the BOINC Project Manager on Windows XP. Recently, I started fooling around with Linux Ubuntu and was able to successfully install BOINC and attached to my projects using the BAM! project manager. Unfortunately a HD mishap caused me to loose all of my current project files and even though I've installed Linux (Mint 11) and re-installed the BOINC Project Manager I can't get BAM! to re-attach to the projects. I am wondering if I have to wait for all of the lost (un-finished) tasks to time-out before BAM! can attach to the projects again. I guess I could try attaching to the projects individually but I don't want to start messing with stuff before I know if the problem is just all the orphaned project files... Advice appreciated. *** Update *** I was able fix the issue. I'd delete this post... but don't see where I can do that. Sorry for the trouble. |
