Hello everyone, So I got the MSI GE70 laptop which comes with 3rd gen Intel i7 @2.30ghz and an nVidia GeForce GT 650M. The problem is that the graphics card is not detected. (No usable GPUs found). I went to nVidia control panel and selected BOINC to use the nVidia graphics card, but it is not being detected. BTW, nVidia has not yet released an official driver for this card, so it is currently using the OEM one. Maybe is this the problem? |

Yes, you need the GPU manufacturer's drivers for CUDA/OpenCL to work. The 650M may not specifically be mentioned, but the 301.42 drivers do support the 600M series notebook GPUs. So do go install them first. |

Still not working. I have selected boinc to use the nVidia GPU, and added the use all gpus flag in the cc_config file. Still I'm getting No Usable GPUs found but the flag is being read. EDIT: Upgraded BOINC to 7.0.27, and noticed that setup had the "Protected Application Execution". Card is being detected now. |
