Are you speaking of running fewer tasks than CPUs/cores are in your computer? If yes, try On multiprocessors, use at most 99% of the processors Enforced by version 6.1+in your Computing preferences. My example would leave one CPU/core unused. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) ![]() |

yes thats what i'm trying to do, i have an 8 core cpu, and i was trying to find a way to make the program use only 2 or 4 of the cores but have them run at 100% |

Okay, that would be 25% or 50% of the processors respectively ;-) You can set that option in your local or online preferences (local wins if different). Gruß, Gundolf |

ahh thanks for that, right infront of my eyes, lol. i was looking more down the task number route instead of cpu %. |
