Trying to install V7 I get this strange error that I cannot fix to save my butt.
How can I install V7?

Use source C\Windows\Downloaded Installation\{E1ED261........."

I did a search and found the .msi file in another C\Windows\Downloaded Installation folder so I copied this location into the box and tried again. Get the same error.

When I Cancel I get a Boinc Error 1706 and it cannot continue. The Install Wizard then naturally closes because the installation was not completed.

I was trying to uninstall the Boinc V6 so I could install V7. I also tried to install V7 on it's own. Now I have neither one.


OS: Windoze Vista Ultimate (they forgot to add POS) 64 bit SP2

Bless you my son! That's really strange since I'm not Catholic. GGG Sorry to take so long, my router died and it's taking me a while to get acclimated.
The Windows Installer Cleanup Utility is what saved the day. Thanks again!
