I have my preferences set to suspend while computer in use (and it does indicate this next to each task), but this file takes up ALL my free CPU usage, at all times. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/58794974/Boinc%201.jpg https://dl.dropbox.com/u/58794974/Boinc%202.jpg Running BOINC 7.0.28. Windows XP, 1.1GHz, 2Gb RAM. How can I limit this file from hogging my resources? Thanks! |

Well, since you're posting here, you presumably suspect it might belong to a BOINC project. A few clues, like a list of the projects you're attached to and are active on the computer in question, might have helped - but a short session with a well-known search engine suggested to me that it might belong to FightMalaria@Home. It looks like they upgraded their applications to version 3.00 just three weeks ago. Maybe there are still some issues to overcome? The project website would be a good place to ask. |

Yes I suspected BOINC because my process manager showed this file running under boincmgr.exe and boinc.exe. You're right that I have FlightMalaria@Home (along with Einstein, Seti, Rosetta, World Community Grid, Collatz, malariacontrol, superlink, climateprediction, and milkyway). Thanks for pointing me in the right direction - I'll see if I can resolve it there, otherwise I'll just stop the project until they figure it out. |

Suspending the project didn't work, so I deleted it. All is good. Thanks! |
