Was an icky day 'round here. Problem is, my Seti and ABC jobs were trashed. What now? Will I get them re-sent, or did I just eff them up for the projects?

Without an intact client_state.xml file or client_state_prev.xml file, there's no way for the project to determine what they sent you before. Reattaching will most probably give you new hostIDs and thus new work.

Although not from Seti, as they're out of work and about to go down for two days.

Don't waste a second worrying about it. If results aren't returned by the deadline projects simply re-send the tasks to a different host. They will not be resent to you. You will receive new tasks and life will go on as if nothing happened. There are numerous safeguards built into BOINC that prevent you from effing things up for any project.
