There is no end to the kitty stories I can tell.

I have been up all night..............some sleep I must have.

I can nick just about any server in the world from right here in my livingroom. And have. And my point exactly is...most of them shall never know I came and went. That is what true hackers are about.
Being able to do it, and nothing more. Just been there, done that.

Now, having stated the above, there have to be acknowleged some of evil intent among the group. Those who wish or try to do more than the original intent.
We are trying very hard to weed them out, and have been rather successful in doing so. Many are in prison as we speak. And should be.

I did. I was able to. That was enough:). I just needed to see if I could get past the firewalls. And did so.

I did not and have not done so since. And nothing that is going on at present is any of my doing.
I am trying with some others, to determine if something else is going on. If it is, we shall put an end to it quickly. You see, one cannot hack without being hacked in return. It's an open ended thingy.

Mark, whilst I have no axe to grind here, the above statement is an admission of a criminal act against SETI@Home and the University of California, Berkeley.

If as you insist it is true, then that would be a very good reason to never let you back.

Perhaps as this board is also hosted by Berkeley, it is also not the place to reveal past criminal acts.

Just a thought.

Well, all I can tell you is that when the smoke clears and the whiskey wears off, I am still the same harmless person that I always was, regardless of my posturing.

Back to work for a short week today...
And we've got 4-7" of snow forecast. Might be a bit slippery on the way home by the time I get out of work after midnight.

One more day of work before the Thanksgiving holiday.
Nice to have an extra day off this week.

Well....
Made it through my work day, which seemed to plod on forever.
But it's done, and I'll be spending Thanksgiving with Lori.
I'll have to arrange a special treat for the kitties. I think I have a few cans of tuna here, and the kitties go wild when they hear that can opener sound...LOL.
So, instead of turkey, I think the kitties shall have a little tuna festival.
